You First

Superb first experience with You First. I was extremely stressed about a nail problem I developed recently which was causing pain. From the first contact Alicia was very kind and took time to chat to me to discover what was wrong (I'm sure she could hear my distress). She listened carefully, asking appropriate questions and offered very helpful advice on what could be causing my issue and what I could do to fix it, with the caveat that she had not actually seen my nails so could not be 100%. From this initial contact I knew I had to pay this salon a visit! At my appointment, a few days later, Alicia assessed my nails and explained what the problem was and what options were open to me to reverse it. I opted for a course of treatment and Alicia helpfully explained each step of the process and again offered very helpful advice on self-help for my nails. I was so impressed by the quality of her work and her knowledge I have booked to go back. My nails are looking much healthier, stronger and I'm no longer in pain. I've booked my second appointment and looking forward to having beautiful natural nails very soon with Alicia's help and guidance. Service: Manicure

This was my first time visiting You First. Alicia was very welcoming, professional and relaxed from the beginning. Being a bit chatty myself, we talked most of the treatment however you don't have to, you can have your treatment in silence too if you want. The treatment I had was Swedish Massage, I usually defer to a Sports Massage for various aches and pains but this was the right decision this time. The massage itself left me feeling relaxed and warm. Lovely! The room is lovely; bright, light and clean however there are quite a a few stairs to climb as it's situated at the top of the lovely Preston House in Royal Musselburgh Golf Course, I have a feeling there is a lift inside but I don't remember seeing it. Free parking is readily available at the house as too is public transport with a bus stop close to the entrance of the Golf Course. You First was a lovely experience and I will be going back. I highly recommend a visit to You First!
