David Conaty Photography - Isle of Skye and Scotland Elopement Photographer

Were so glad we found David to be our photographer for our wedding in November. The photos from our wedding are breathtaking and really captured the atmosphere of our day. Hes really easy to talk to and makes you feel so relaxed, especially if youre not the most comfortable having photos taken! He managed to get such a variation of photos from our day and we didnt even know he was there most of the time! We also by chance managed to have our engagement shoot with David on the Isle of Skye where he is now located and it was such a magical experience. We couldnt recommend David enough.

From the very beginning of reaching out to David for our elopement on the Isle of Skye to the last moment, he was so warm and friendly. Made my other half feel so comfortable even though he hates taking photos. David always let us know he is there for us from the start. From guides to where to get a wedding cake to finding the perfect spots to take wedding photos, David is absolutely amazing photographer and a outgoing soul. His work is beyond gorgeous and we instantly fell in love with the way he works with the rugged nature of the Isle of Skye. If you are looking for a photographer that makes you feel comfortable, guides you gently, and tells a story with his work, then David is your man! THE MOST AMAZING PHOTOS EVER!!!! I literally do not have words. David is the most kind and talented photographer we could have ever hoped for! He was so patient and encouraging we couldn't help but have the best day ever! The pictures we got speak for themself. Every time we look at them we cry! He captured us, our love, the beauty of Scotland, and the memory of the day all in one! 12/10 experience and would do it all again in a heartbeat!

Congratulations, youve just found the very best elopement photographerlook no further! This time last year, my husband and I were just starting our planning for an elopement overseas and we had no clue where to start. We are beyond thankful we stumbled upon Davids website and started with choosing him. He helped us plan and coordinate from afar, he connected us with amazing vendors, and went along with our crazy idea to get married before the sun came up. Every step of the way David was calm, supportive, and genuinely cared about helping us orchestrate a day that was 100% us. He arrived at our hotel in the wee hours of the morning with a smile on his face and made us feel comfortable from the start even though neither of us are particularly comfortable with being photographed. After a beautiful ceremony (at a location David scouted for us) we spent the day adventuring around Skye, chatting with this genuinely wonderful human being, and taking photographs that never felt forced or posed. The end result was the happiest day of our lives and the pictures we were sent are simply perfect, dreamy, moody, emotional, joyful, and everything in between. I still cant believe how perfectly he captured the day. I cant thank David enough for his huge part in making our elopement day so special and providing us with photos that not only are gorgeous and cinematic but that put us both right back in those moments of love and laughter each time we look at our album. We are already talking about a return trip and well be sure to book David again for some anniversary photos before we even book our flights because hes that incredible. If youre looking for a very reliable, friendly talented photographer look no further than David. You will not be disappointed. Davids genuine, kind manner, made us all instantly feel so at ease in his presence. We felt so relaxed and at ease in the front of the camera from start to finish. We cant wait to see our final pictures, but were fully confident in giving David 5 stars even without fully seeing them as his work is outstanding!
