Sorry but it was the worst chippy Ive ever had in the highland and island. What I ordered looked and tasted bad (even heated frozen food shall testes better than the scampi I had). Everything looked really brown (the oil seemed quite old), butters were thick and soggy. Maybe this is what the whole beef oil thing is about, and is up to individuals preference, but sorry I really just didnt like what I had

Pretty small portions for takeaway, but ideal if youre just eating off the picnic tables outside. Very run down, but does the job. Went 2 different eves during a holiday visit. Chips are good, mains seem a bit processed but tasty, fish is pretty small. 4/5 stars.
