Co-op Food - Portree - Bank Street

Staff are great. Very poor selection at times. Shop is very narrow and can feel claustrophobic at busy times. Staff also need to make people aware of the queuing systems. Tourists aren't aware you need to line up at the far end, and staff rarely correct them when they walk straight up to a till in front of the que.

Older, heavy-set blonde woman behind the till is very unpleasant. I'm assuming she's a supervisor/manager. The tone she takes with both customers and her co-workers, leaves something to be desired. Comes off very self importing. The rest of the staff have been great, from what I've seen. I regularly stop there on my way through Portree, so have spent a reasonable amount of time in the shop to come to this conclusion.

This is an essential visit place to visit while you are in Portree Scotland UK. Just a few minutes walk from the town centre. We picked up freshly baked donuts and fresh fruits for our trip. Also one of the places that are open late when you need to pick up anything urgent in this area.

Life saver when you arrive to your hotel in Portree after 9 pm and realize that ALL restaurants and takeaway places are closed. They have an extensive prepared food section, bread, fresh fruit, wine, etc.
