A picturesque fishing harbour with, alas, few working boats these days. The breakwater is pretty good for shore fishing. It is very exposed though and shouldnt be accessed during a northerly blow. In summer you can safely spend a few hours trying to catch a variety of species, the most common being immature saithe (coalfish). Ling and wrasse are there too, and plenty of mackerel in summer. Conger down the harbour walls after dark. Dabs over the cleaner ground on the landward side of the breakwater.
