Quirky, but fun tiny winery on Islay. Don't be put off by the tent or pups. Wine was very tasty and tasting felt like you were with family. Definitely worth the short walk if you're staying on Islay.

We finally made it along to Islay Wines and were not disappointed. The owners were off moving a tractor but the gazebo was very welcoming with wines to taste, lots of info an an honesty box for purchases, worth a wee visit!

On a sunny Sunday in May, we found Isle of Islay to be essentially closed for business. This, apparently, is normal Sunday protocol on the Isle. Fortunately, we managed to stumble across Islay Wines and were delighted to meet Helen and sample her wine passion project. The wines were unique, refreshing and an alternative taste profile from the traditional island peat flavor.
