Carols Cabs

They cant lie any more, it is not a 24h service its a service from 9am until 10pm and they will charge you like a London airport taxi company.

We use Carols Cabs every year when we visit Islay (about 8 years now). We've just got back from a wonderful 10 day holiday on Islay, and yet again Carol has been an absolute star, and has made our holiday. We mainly visit during the annual Feis Ile, so it is a really busy time on the island, with hundreds of visitors. Carol is always friendly and helpful, prices are very good, and she has never let us down (even when we've made last minute bookings). She's even given us some little tours of the more inaccessible but beautiful bits of the island on our way when there's time, as she knows we don't have a car, so would otherwise have missed these. We used Carols Cabs almost every day, going all over the island, and to pick us up after nights out in Bowmore and on the Oa. We can't thank her (and her colleague Donalda) enough for the reliable, friendly and helpful service. We'll be back next year, and will definitely be using Carols Cabs again. Highly recommended.

Very positive experience. We called at the last time but we still were able to book a ride that saved our distillery tour, even if the ferry was 2 hours late! Recommended.
