Sea Glint Cottage

Perfectly located as a base to explore East Fife & beyond. The Cottage is very tastefully decorated & fitted out to a high standard & with every possible aid to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Very spacious rooms throughout & our party of 4 adults were very comfortable, both dining & resting in the lounge. We would definitely return to Pittenweem & to Glint Cottage.

Now in writing this review I must say that our first impressions of Sea Glint were mixed. Firstly as we approached Bruces Wynd we were pleased to see plentiful free parking was available. Entering Bruces Wynd we saw Sea Glint almost immediately on our left. It is as pretty in life as it is in the website photos. Going through the front door we were faced with a set of stairs going down as well as a set going up. At this stage we were wondering just what awaited us. Down took us to a good sized lounge on the right and bedroom to the left. Through the lounge there was another few stairs leading up to a very well equipped kitchen/diner. Back up the stairs from the lounge lead us to a lovely double bedroom and another single bedroom. Up a further set of stairs lead to a very large additional lounging area. Sea Glint was slowly but surely casting its spell upon us . We soon came to love it more as we settled in. Sea Glint turned out to be all we could have asked in every way. The owners have provided pretty well everything one could ask for to have a great holiday. Would I recommend this holiday rental to my best friend? Yes.

There are such tasteful touches throughout every nook of this cottage that have been carefully added for the visitors appreciation and enjoyment and it makes Sea Glint so special. Each room is perfect and we took delight in exploring the cottages twists and turns and changing levels which also offered beautiful views from each window. Set back from the harbour, its just moments from restaurants and the tavern as well as the Hub on the Main Street. We breakfasted in the courtyard each morning and sat outside most evenings- so beautiful were the surroundings. The short walk to the tidal pool takes you past some of the colourful harbour cottages and along a path bursting with summer flowers. We saw seals, played tennis and ate some of the best seafood ever tasted and it was a delight to return home to Sea Glint each evening and rest our heads on the comfortable beds.
