A station that does it job well. Regular train services from Scotrail stops here, as well as occasional LNER and Caledonian Sleeper services. Inter7City services served by the HSTs usually stops here. They have a cute 'Pitlochry in Bloom' sculpture near the gates! Waiting room and the toilets are regularly cleaned by the station staffs when I was there. A footbridge (not accessible friendly) connects between the 2 platforms there. Overall the station was clean and nice. Went here for a hike and Pitlochry is a quaint little town in Scotland. Will go again maybe during winter to see the place in whites!

Staff were exceptionally helpful when I have accidentally left my wallet on one of the trains, on my way to work. I am extremely grateful for their efforts and initiative that have led to me getting my wallet back on the very same day. In particular Colin from Pitlochry station (as well as staff in Aviemore and the train crew) should be commended for their incredible work ethos, integrity and genuine care for passengers. Especially given the challenges they face during winter time, I hope that their efforts will be recognised by Scotrail.

(Translated by Google) It is a large bus station in Edinburgh, it is 15 minutes from the center and it is not very big but it looks like an airport. I recommend going early as we had complications to go... The departure of the bus is very punctual and it usually arrives before what it says on the ticket, but don't trust it. Try to get the tickets online and if you wonder if you can pay on the bus without a problem, it's all that your bank will charge you more fees if you pay by card. From there to Glasgow it takes about 1 hour.

Pitlochry Railway Station is a very traditional, historic Station. I liked all the different things to see. I visited in November so I missed the lovely flower displays that are usually here. There is shelter for a wet day but no self service ticket machine thankfully the ticket office was open. There is also the brilliant bookshop which I have done a separate review for. My train was on time and I had a really nice journey. If you like your railways this is a very impressive one to see.
