Pitlochry Station Bookshop

If only more railway stations had a bookshop like this. I had about thirty mins to wait for my next train. This charity bookshop is run by volunteers and it is wonderful to visit. They have taken time to organise all the books into sections and the two ladies were very chatty the day I visited. The bookshop supports some local charities like Shop Mobility Pitlochry they also support Cancer Research and a number of other charities. As I said the bookshop is run by volunteers and you can leave a donation towards the upkeep of the bookshop. This bookshop should be on every book lovers bucket list.

Excellent little bookshop with a huge variety of volumes. The lady volunteering there went out of her way to help us. Highly recommended!

This bookshop is always brilliant. To utterly refute the individual who reviewed it as boring, it is on the contrary a really interesting bookshop with a wide variety of materials excellently organised and displayed. Beats the pants off many a non charity bookshop.

A great little bookshop run entirely by volunteers. You need to go onto the platform to enter the shop, it's a must see if you visit Pitlochry for any time. All the money raised goes to charity.
