Great spot for excellent coffee and the widest selection of cakes and pastries I've seen anywhere in long time! Service wasn't the quickest when it got busy around lunch, but that's part of going to a small independent business rather than a fast food chain like Gregg's. Helpful, friendly staff. Got a vegan sausage roll to takeaway and it was one of the best I've eaten.

We arrived on a quiet Sunday morning and had our pick of tables. After a wee while they took our order and then we waited, It got a little busier. Other customers that had come in after us had their order taken and delivered, and we were still waiting. We finally got our drinks but not our food. Which didn't arrive for another 20 minutes. My friends order was fine. But my order was different to what she thought she had ordered for me but close enough, we didn't question it. However, it was tasteless and had a waxy feel to it. I couldn't eat it. We asked for a replacement but it took so long to arrive. We ad finished our drinks and were totally unhappy with our experience that we asked for a box to go. There were plenty of staff on that day that it really shouldn't have been an issue, but it obviously was . Based on that experience, neither of us will be back, which is a shame as it has lots of potential
