        Cross the Rob Roy Bridge leaving Peterculter and head up the path on your left and you'll find this beautiful memorial, close enough to the village to walk but it feels far removed. Benches allow you to sit while you reflect on the sacrifice made by those commemorated. A beautiful example of a war memorial surrounded by woodland, open fields and the soundtrack if running water from Culter Burn.
