My Dad was a resident here for a number of years and I always found the staff to be excellent. They always looked after my Dad and any visitors really well.

I used to work as agency nurse for 3 years with the brilliant Scotforce Healthcare (the best agency there is for nurses and carers in Scotland in my opinion), I have been to many, like 40+, nursing homes thus can compare. The stand outs are great manager, meaning very reasonable, pleasant and very wise - and trust me, if you have this good manager in a nursing home good things are to follow naturally, creating pleasant work environment and very low staff turnaround with high staff satisfaction levels. The current manager have been there for about 9 years and some nursing staff even longer which is telling and usually very positive thing. The home is purposely build and has best layout of any home I have been to which significantly increases safety levels of residents and staff energy levels too. Also, the call and sensor system is best there is with all staff having pagers, saving residents from hearing the call bell all the time. The drug management is top notch, the care standards and staff knowledge is easily above average. Cleanliness is on very high level too. Food looks tasty and well prepared with lots of veggies. Easy to recommend! edit 31.12.20 The only issue is that staff is not in routine of recycling waste.
