Sorry to say it was not a very positive experience I wanted to sell my (now ex) imported van (Japan) that I had for under a year imported from a specialist grade 4,5 on auction and well maintained over my ownership. At first dad and son were enthusiastic until they test drove it and refused to go ahead claiming that gearbox does not react as it should as she has a problem ! This is a wrong diagnosis as the gearbox is CVT naturally going up and down in RPM as there is actually no gear to shift so that is all about how the gearbox works ( I agree that in comparison with a Porsche Cayenne it is a gentle and slow gear so can be surprising when we are not used to it). When we tried to explain what CvT was all about in term of driving they just claimed gearbox had problem and that as kitchen worker we did not know what we were talking about in comparison with their 42 years experienced mechanic ( well sorry to say that neither the dad owner , the son or the mechanic had touched a CvT gearbox before and had no clue what it was all about) to give you comparison it is like complaining about a noisy diesel engine that is actually how diesel engine is anyway car was sold to a specialist in import within the next 3 hours at the expected price. I understand CVT is not for them ( as they do not have a clue about how it works so how to maintain them ) but claiming a car has got a problem when she has not got any is a different story. Would not really recommend to sell your vehicle there tbh (unless is a standard diesel van like Citroen Jumper). The owner is pretending friendliness but he d rather contemptuous.
