Lovely meal and best steak I've had in a long time. Staff great. My only thought is that the menu seemed a bit limited, still, everything they did do was delicious and there's a lot to be said for that.

I was in last night, March 14th 2020, with family . The waiting staff were excellent and attentive . UNFORTUNATELY the main part of the tasting menu , which was a Duck dish was a disappointment for 2 out of the 4 diners at our table . On one dish there was a sizeable sticky bar-code label floating in the jus and in the small hotpot dish on the plate there was a bone of approximately 1 inch long in beside the meat which was very finely shredded , on which I almost chocked and it cut the roof of my mouth . The waiting staff were horrified that this had happened , HOWEVER, the manager on duty at the time , stated, " I am sure you can appreciate these things happen " . Actually myself and family who were dining DO NOT appreciate that these things can happen in a 2 rosette restaurant or anywhere else . No proper apology was received and the duty managers attitude was rather dismissive of our complaint . No reduction in the bill or offer of a complimentary coffee was made . Totally unprofessional standard . So due to this I would NOT recommend this restaurant or return . Delete Move to Forward Reply More
