Shopping today on behalf of my dad to purchase Xmas gift for my mum. On looking in the window I decided on a necklace so I entered the shop to be greeted by assistant wearing a face shield who asked me to use the sanitiser . I politely refused and explained that I have psoriasis on my hand to which she responded by saying well you cant touch the jewellery I explained I didnt need to touch the jewellery as I had already chosen but I felt so embarrassed by her abrupt statement that I decided to leave the shop, seeing how upset I was my husband returned to purchase the gift for my dad to be told that the customer who was in shop at the same time was a nurse and understood I couldnt use the sanitiser but I should have brought my own stuff with me who are they to discuss me in my absence is beyond me I have pain every day in my hands and I have never been discriminated for this condition until today or have I been refused to touch anything in other retailers if I did not use sanitiser. My husband pointed out I can open the shop door and in fact would have been able to use their card machine to which there was silence.. I would also like to point out I had been in other jeweller shops today as well as other retailers and no one asked me to use sanitiser or refused me to touch anything if I didnt. Disappointed ,upset and angry.

Probably my favorite jewellery store in the world! There are so many unique designs, many featuring animals and nature, which are my passions. Everything is exquisitely beautiful, and I challenge anyone to go and pick just one thing! Most, if not all, pieces are by Scottish artists. Prices are very reasonable for such quality. Wonderful place to find gifts for yourself and others. Elizabeth and her mum run the shop together and are delightful to talk to. Last year I found a gift for my niece as well as a silver Scottie dog pin for myself, and this year I found a lovely little gold bee necklace and more gifts for others. Wish I could post pics, as they don't have a website.
