We used this for a church leaders breakout day. The staff were lovely, very helpful and the venue was clean and functional but basic. Coffee in polystyrene cups, plastic chairs (although we swapped out for the slightly nicer padded ones). The room was so cold, although to be fair it was a fairly damp and miserable day. The heater was quite old and ineffecient, when it was switched on it did heat the room, to the point where it was too hot, but switching it off the room very quickly became uncomfortably cold, jumpers and scarfs were on and off all day! The heater was also very noisy when it was running which made it difficult to hear whoever was speaking. I appreciate that this is an old building and a refurbishment will be very expensive, but it's going to need it if the Ncoc annexe is going to come up to scratch.
