British Heart Foundation in Perth has let me down very badly. When I called and offered to donate a wardrobe, they happily accepted my offer and gave me what sounded like a firm collection date. However, the drivers who came to collect it took one look and refused to take it on the grounds that it was too large, even though I had given the exact dimensions to the person who initially took my call and arranged for the pick up. So I was left, having set aside an entire day for this collection which never took place, and having arranged tor a replacement wardrobe to be delivered within days and nowhere for it to go! There are other charities and organisations that will tell you up front when you make the initial contact, whether or not they can accept your donation, thereby saving donors a huge amount of stress and time. I will certainly not be wasting my time with British Heart Foundation in future!

Offered a great dining table and chairs for them to uplift, whilst there we saw a table and chairs that we liked and asked if they could deliver it when collecting our table, only to be told that we would have to pay a delivery fee. When questioned that they were going to our house could they not waver the delivery charge, the answer wad no, we would have to pay a delivery charge. So the table and chairs have gone elsewhere.
