Glenalmond Contracts

My experience with Glenalmond Contracts has been very positive. As a home owner self building an extension, there can be some trepidation dealing with specialised contractors but not at all with Glenalmond. From an initial, informal chat at a trade show, to sharing my drawings and finally a site visit, each contact was friendly, interested and informative. For a variety of reasons, not least the pandemic, my schedule slipped markedly and Glenalmond kept in touch, not in the least pushy but enough for me to know I would still be welcome when I actually needed their service. In the end, that time came this week and a final site visit to check my work was made, followed two days later by the setting out visit to establish levels and finally the pour the day afterwards. Three visits, all on time and without exception the guys were friendly, interested, thorough and capable. Smartly turned out and on time, I had four areas done today, including a koi pond base four feet underground. The pours went without incident, the chaps working well together, quietly and methodically to deliver what seems to me a first rate job. The job was efficient, surprisingly quick, as everyone blended seamlessly to keep the job moving and the site left clean on completion. All I had to do was shut the doors and remember to keep off the floor for 48 hours! I have a further pour to do of more or less the same area again and I look forward to welcoming Glenalmond back when I am ready.
