The Red Practice, Whitefriars Surgery

20/03/23 Ive been trying to get an appointment to speak with one of the doctors, Ive been on hold for over an hour!! I normally never have any complaints with the surgery, the staff and doctors are great, but being in on hold for what is now 1 hour and 11 minutes is a bit much. I understand that the surgery is busy, but when youre on hold for so long and the answer machine is telling you please continue to hold your call will be dealt with shortly it starts to grate on the nerves a bit.

It would be really good if the self check in facility at the practice could actually be repaired. It's been broken for weeks now. I actually arrived in time for my appointment but because there was only one receptionist on duty taking a long time with a question I ended up 10 minutes late. Come on you can do better

Every time I try to get hold of them it is 20 minutes to an hour + on hold to then get nowhere. Some Drs are good, but others have prior assumptions and aren't prepared to actually listen. Nurses are brilliant, but accessability is a major concern when it takes an hour and a half or more to get through (seems to cut off if you are on hold at 45 minutes in my experience).

Always get an appointment, friendly and helpful staff on the phone. Medical staff are all friendly and helpful as well.

I have been with this practice for almost 40 years. Their doctors have helped me through some hard times with my emotional and physical health, especially after the death of my wee boy. I have the highest opinion of all the GPs at the red practice. Thank you for always helping
