Have bought about 20 bottles from 2 recent auctions now and have been very impressed with the service. Pricing has been very good overall, and the standout part is how good the packing is - the team clearly take the time to pack everything incredibly well. Definitely my preferred auction site.

I have spent many thousands of pounds on bottles through the Whisky Auctioneer and always look forward to see what will come up in the next auction from my favourite bottlers. Prices are generally fair and you can find stuff you literally won't see anywhere else, obviously most especially the single cask bottlings. Service and delivery are great, many great finds made, can't fault it (the lots delivered from the EU used to cost a fortune in customs and shipping so I'm glad they now seem to have been converted UK lots with VAT to pay)

Recently participated in one of Whisky (they can't help it if they spell it wrong) Auctioneer's auctions. I was the high bidder on two rare bourbons and I have to say given the current dollar to pound exchange rate, it is a better deal sourcing bottles from them right now, even with the shipping. And it was a great experience on top of that. The website was easy to use and when I needed to speak to a person about delivery, I had no problem getting someone on the phone and Scott was very helpful arranging delivery. I went to follow up on delivery after a little more than a week, only to discover the bottles had been delivered that same day, with bombproof packaging. Very pleased with the result.
