        Lovely little pond with a couple of decked areas to stand and view it from. There's a public bench at the pond too. After it's been wet the ground underfoot can be very muddy so don't visit in nice shoes. We visit as it's a location where we have often seen a kingfisher. There are no public toilets. If you wish there is a footpath that takes you along the Riverside all the way to Dalkeith, so a good walk for those who wish too do so.

        Tranquil setting that was temporary home recently to a splendid Swan and continues to be home for several ducks.
