We required an expert to repair a sandstone wall with lime mortar, carve new copes from blocks of stone, repair stone gate pillars and fit new sandstone front entrance steps. Hansen Muir was reliable , hard working and helpful. His rates were fair and reasonable. We would not hesitate to recommend Muir Stone. A pleasure to work with.

Muir Stone worked on a project for us to fix a long standing problem with our separating wall. We live on the outskirts of Edinburgh which can sometimes mean people dont want to travel to us but this was never an issue. We had been told by the Housing Association that owns the adjoining property that fixing would be an extremely difficult issue to solve, yet Hansen and his team completed the job on time and without any fuss. They even cleaned up after themselves. We would definitely recommend Muir Stone to anyone needing craftsman they can trust.

We had work done to the front of our house, a Victorian sandstone property in Morningside. Hansen talked the job through in detail, his guys did a great job, took their time, made strenuous efforts to make the colours match and finished the job to a very high spec. We got a reasonable quote for the work which was also the final bill. Would recommend Muirstone highly for professionalism and good service.
