I did NOT hate it ! I was entirely unaware of its existence as, presumably, I drove past it ! My journey from Edinburgh to my 1st stop in Northumberland (until Peebles) was frustratingly slow since I was initially at the back and subsequently in the middle of a convoy of at least 20 cars when I joined it and at least double that when the Tesco tractor/trailer unit leading it turned off (presumably to the local Tesco branch). The Tesco driver had two speeds only : he drove at about 30mph in both 20 and 30 limits ; and at about 40mph where the limit was anywhere between 40 and 60 ! Apparently it did not occur to the the driver to look into the wing mirrors, assess the problem he/she was causing and pull into one of the several lay-bys available to allow the ever increasing line of traffic to pass ! Selfish behaviour . . . which could have become dangerous had it not been Good Friday when the vast majority of delayed drivers were NOT travelling for business purposes !
