        Staff training on customer service required. Wife called in this afternoon. Spoke to backroom female assistant to ask if unsuitable goods can be returned. Wife didn't have time to try the item on. The assistant taken aback by the question said a credit note only would be issued. I can understand why this individual is kept in the background. Terrible attitude. Avoid this place like the plague.

        They need to get that window fixed. It's not like charities don't have any spare money, is it. More old skool than the other charity shops in Peebles; An air of Steptoe about it. This is not a bad thing; I like my charity shops piled high with junk at 1970s prices. Mostly inexpensive, occasionally laughably over-priced, but that's the Charity Business, pop-pickers!
