It's difficult to review your own bank as one has so many mixed feelings about them. On the one hand I am grateful that they still have a branch in Peebles and even in my local town Innerleithen, but on the other hand I don't like the way that banks have become so commercialised, huge and focused on profit. I miss the days when a bank was the place that just held your money. When did they become vast moneymaking machines that are too-big-to-fail?
