Elderslie Nursing Home - Advinia Health Care

Recently lost our father after an 18 months stay in elderslie care home the carers were excellent and although very overworked and understaffed show genuine care and compassion towards their residents.During our dads final days and eventual passing the staff were amazing and their kindness and empathy towards our Dad,our Mum and the rest of our family was truly appreciated I wish I could name them all but everyone of them were fantastic a big thanks to them all. If I'm to raise one criticism it's that during my dad's harrowing 12 days on end of life care our family were at his bedside almost constantly and the manager of elderslie care home never showed face once to check on the situation or offer condolences to ourselves or our mum which I thought was completely unprofessional and showed a real lack of humanity on his/her part

My husband was in for respite had to get him home after 1 week he came home with black and blue elbow and ear , his hand was also black and blue and swollen ,never got an explanation to what happened ,take it he had a few falls , when I unpacked his case a lot of his clothes were missing and in his case was soiled pads.mixed with the clothes he had left, he didnt even use pads when he went in , I honestly would not put my dog into Elderslie Care Home ,I am being generous giving one star , please dont put your love one into this hone , never again !

An outstanding organisation in every respect. My brother has been treated with supreme dignity and tender, loving care throughout his time at Elderslie. Thank you so much to everyone for their ongoing, unstinting support of my brother and, indeed, we as a family.

Some staff are good .Care standards are varied not consistent
