Renfrewshire Community Mental Health Teams

The service at mile end mill is appalling and has got worse over the last ten years. One psychiatrist lynne doig is dangerously incompetent and doesn't even say hi how are you. Another psychiatrist doesn't do her job properly. Lazy and doesn't do my requests on time. They have a new secretary whose telephone manner is a disgrace. This isn't anything to do with nhs funding. It's completely useless, incompetent people who can't do their job properly. Zero stars.

Waste of time. Assessment done from clipboard with generic questions, the whole process makes you feel bad and confused, afterwards no call no nothing only leaflet like letter referring to another community project. Pathetic and useless.

Ive been a patient for 4 years, and now being discharged when I need them the most,after being diagnosed with a brain tumour, and thyroid removal, they wanted to do a 8 week aggressive care plan, to then discharge me, after surgeons and GP said my health wouldnt allow for such a plan, they temporarily discharged me until surgeries are over and Ive healed , I need them while Im going through all of this, hopeless service.

I was told to phone them by my gp. I phoned and the assessor was quite stern and rude at points. I think an assessor has to be compassionate? I also mentioned their physiatrist (which they said they had on their website) then she said they no longer have one and that she didnt know the website said that. I was then told I wasnt applicable for their help. Waste of time, just dont seem very caring.
