Two great sandwiches from here, one crab, one prawn. The prawn was my favourite! Had a taster of some mussels which were also delicious. Cash only, staff were great. Recommended.

A local told me about the Seafood Hut and I always try to head a locals suggestion. Ate there twice. All of the seafood local and caught daily. The first time was close to end of day so options were limited. I wasn't sure if I would have another chance to eat here, so I tried a 1/2 lobster with a chili sipping sauce (new for me with lobster) and i was doing a happy dance the entire time eating it. Second time was a few days later, due to missing the train, because of ferry. This time I was able to have the scallops in garlic butter and a chili dipping sauce. Again scrumptious!! The shack stays busy, seating is kind of family style and both times Ive had lovely chats with others. The only disadvantage is outdoor seating if the weather is off. But go with the flow. Also it right on the waterfront next to the train/ferry terminals, so convenient for sure. So highly recommend if you are in Oban for a visit.
