Good location and we got a heads up on how to gain entry to the property from James the owner. The front door was very stiff but we eventually got it open (another guest had the same issue).
The room appeared adequate for our needs but on closer inspection it was tired and scuffed and the furniture is not a good quality the chair and dressing table were wobbly. The bed was really comfortable but no pillow protectors on the pillow. Shower was good took a while for the hot water to run through.
We had a power cut for a couple of hours in the first morning but it came back on just before James dad came to check on us as I sent a message requesting help. Bit of a panic as I couldn't make tea or use the hair dryer and we had no tv.
We still enjoyed our stay loved the wee touches of Irn Bru and nice biscuits.
Don't expect too much then you won't feel let down.
