        Was there on Wednesday 3rd of may 2 fish suppers sat in was not impressed the chips where average and the fish was very greasy

        I've seen the sign saying award winner, so I decided to try. What a regret! Undercooked fish, it was even translucent inside. The breaded coat was burnt, so they might cook it in a very high temperature, to be quick. Also the chips were a bit soggy. And they charge 20p for brown sauce. A chippy that doesn't offer something so basic and cheap like brown sauce! I couldn't be bother to complain, so I just had some chips and left I know mistakes happens, but if wasn't them charging for the sauce I would just carry on. Don't be deceived by Gordon Ramsay picture tho.

        Top notch fish & chips! In our short half-week stay in Oban we made Nories our official dinner spot. Whether dining in or taking out and sitting by the water to enjoy your meal, the folks behind the counter were some of the friendliest, sweetest people weve met in Oban - definitely give it a shot, and do yourself a favour and try the curry tub!
