we came to Oban, purely for George's Fish restaurant and wanted to stay local. We happened upon a gem, and we will definitely book here again! We were greeted at the door with a very warm welcome, and went to our room. It was spotless and had everything we needed. The bed was comfy, the telly worked and the shower was amazing. We woke for breakfast , and it was arranged to be earlier then they normally serve as we had to be out ! The selection was wonderful and cooked breakfast was fresh and tasty. We will be back!

Stayed here overnight before catching the ferry to Oban to cycle the Hebridean Way. Had a great chat with James when we arrived, marvelling that we'd driven up in a pre-1990s 2CV with 2 bikes and all our gear in the back. He's got a secure shed to lock up bikes and he helpfully told us where to park for free while we were away. He also gave us some local advice and we were soon settled in our rooms. A great freshly cooked breakfast in the morning with plenty of options and we were ready for the off - the ferry terminal is close by. Friendly and helpful.
