Impressed with this lodge. We would visit again. Excellent location close to Tobermory and close to Aros Park and the fantastic waterfalls. Clean and tidy lodge. Not massive, but plenty big enough. Fantastic views.

Cannot fault the view from our lodge. We saw deer in the next field and a buzzard would also sit on a power pole until the local crows pestered him. There is a peacock who sits on the railing and likes to nose in through the windows. At dusk we had bats flying out the front and they would even come under the cabin canopy and we managed to get some amazing photos of them. You need to bring walking boots or wellies if you intend to walk in to town as the access driveway is shared with sheep and you have to be careful where you tread. The walk in to Tobermory is an easy 15 mins downhill stroll but coming back up is a calf building 25. Our lodge (there are two) was basic, the kitchen needs better lighting as the main lights are high up and low power. If there are more than two of you staying then be prepared to live out of your case as there is only one single wardrobe. Electric heating warmed the rooms very quick. Very noisy roof when it rained but always felt secure from the weather. Clear nights were a blanket of stars.
