Ardachy House

I went to Mull looking for fresh air, beautiful secenery, a quiet relaxing place to stay and welcoming hospitable accomodation and I got this in abundance at Ardochy House. The premises is slightly off the beaten track with stunning views of the sea and only a couple of minutes walk from a lovely deserted beach. I went to bed to the sound of silence and awoke to the sound of cows. Jo and Chris are the perfect hosts, offering a relaxed friendly service, good breakfasts and a lounge to sit and watch the sun sets with a glass of wine. I cannot wait to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Ardachy House and highly recommend it. Chris and Jo were very welcoming, kind hosts. The room was very clean and comfortable and roomy. Homemade breakfast was a treat and we really enjoyed the company of other guests in the lounge and dining room. What an amazing location!! The house is surrounded by fields and stone barns with cows and sheep. It felt like our own private sandy beach close by down the road. We even found a standing stone on a walk nearby! We loved roaming some trails around the house - it was so beautiful! We stopped in and got some lovely scarves by Ardalanish Isle of Mull Weavers next door. It was a very quick drive to the ferry to Iona in Fionnphort. Iona was amazing! We also enjoyed a fabulous day walking around the Isle of Erraid - a quick drive not far from Ardachy House - bring waterproof boots if you go there and wait for low tide! Thank you, Chris and Jo for a truly memorable and happy vacation!!!

Very good breakfasts in the morning and a very good balanced meal in the evening, comfortable rooms, well decorated and also very clean, all in a very quiet and beautiful setting on the magnificent Isle of Mull. The icing on the cake is perhaps the owners who are really very friendly. Hope we come back! (Original) Un sjour vraiment parfait en famille (avec notre fille de 2,5 ans). De trs bons petits-djeuners le matin et un trs bon repas quilibr le soir, des chambres confortables, bien dcores et aussi trs propres le tout dans un cadre trs calme et magnifique sur la magnifique le de Mull. La cerise sur le gteau est peut-tre les propritaires qui sont vraiment trs sympathiques. J'espre que nous reviendrons !
