Just return from our 3 rd trip from staying at oldmillmull. Stayed in the smiddy first time was awesome every thing you should need was there. Felt so welcome and made good friends with Jenny and Jim. We have been back and stayed in there new Annex just for two people twice again nice and cosy, so welcoming but missed Jim this time, hopefully catch him next time, we have already booked for next year. We have been twice this year. Never been to a places like this theres nothing to much trouble for them. Its now self catering which is great, never mind 4 stars its more than a five star place. Cant wait to go back and will be booking again for later in year as well. Would highly recommend after staying here you wont look for another place. Thank you so much Jenny see you soon. Superb location near Craignure ferry so easy to access the North and South of Mull. Bed sitting room spacious with a good sized television which had Netflix on it. The separate bathroom and kitchen were fine and there was also a drying room. Decor modern and comfortable. We liked the fact that there were Ordnance Survey maps to borrow as well as guidebooks and leaflets. Jenny the host was very welcoming. Highly recommended for a couple. Ulva Ferry although we did not go across, but I would think it would be worth doing as it is traffic free. Just missed the White tailed Eagles on their nest but attended the RSPB eagle watch site near Craignure and even without seeing the eagles it was fascinating with a good guide. Nearest shop is a village store 3 miles up the road so we stocked up in Oban before arriving. This property has been refurbished so the older reviews above are inappropriate. It is a spcious self-catering appartment now.
