        Lovely Victoria sponge, and a beautiful setting to sit and eat it. Well worth a visit. We sat 2 mins and saw an Eagle and some dolphins/porpoise in the bay from the garden

        We came here primarily for the Whitetail Gin Distillery, but we were made very welcome and the hotel and gardens are fabulously appointed. Cleanliness is taken very seriously. There's a private walk from the hotel down to the beach where you can exercise your dog. It's a bit off the beaten track which in some ways is a boon: it doesn't get too crowded, so it's worth making the effort to get here if you can. Oh, and the gin is very good indeed.
