I've been using this butcher for 20+ years they have become friends, the quality of the products they sell has never been in doubt. They even managed to get me wild boar a few years back. Buy some venison burgers you won't regret it.

Best haggis Ive ever tasted. Apparently it came 2nd in a recent competition. More subtle in flavour that all the others I have had in the past and in my opinion better for it. I would say this butcher gives a damn about his produce. His staff are nice too. Very welcoming and knowledgeable on their meat. Will definitely swing by next time Im passing. Update on last review. Stopped by on my way from Oban to Crianlarich for a haggis. Ended up with short rib, beef cheeks, lamb chops, stewing steak, and bacon! Oh, and the haggis! The lady behind the counter was lovely and funny and I could have talked to her for hours. Then the butcher came out and had a chat and gave me a couple of bones for the dog. Quality of the meat and service can't be beaten. Hope they did well in the haggis comp. Absolutely top notch butcher, cannot fault it.

Went in to Grants The Butchers in Taynuilt yesterday to buy my usual meat package however, I witnessed a really horrible side of the man himself. My son automatically followed me in, not thinking about the dog on the lead. He was shouted at in an aggressive manner to get the dog out of his establishment as my son politely walked away he then proceeded to shout for Gods sake its a food establishment!! Really no need for this. I also about turned and walked out. This was also done in front of two other customers. No sign on his door either however; we admit to our mistake but theres ways to say things!!

Excellent butchers, been going here to buy produce for years whenever passing through, I was staying nearby so went in a couple of times, superb produce, friendly staff and hope they keep this place open, so nice to be able to buy decent meat rather than rely on mediocre stuff from the supermarkets.
