Wonderful little course. Innovative use of tees to spin nine holes out to 18. It is quite tight with wee burns and many greens protected by trees and bunkers. You need to think your way around. What a beautiful background.

I have recently returned from a long stay around Lock Awe, and from the start I was made to feel very welcome at the club from my first visit, not only by Garry the groundsman, but members of the club including me in their get-togethers. Thank you to all. The course is set amongst stunning scenery and is well laid out, 9 holes, however 18 tees, again well set out, this makes all the difference, all are well managed and tended to. The course is forgiving, however very challenging in places, extremely so!! The only facility I haven't as yet tested is the bar, however I intend to do so over the summer with one or two quick jaunts up there to experience the course is better weather. A definite "must play course" when in the locality.

Only a 9 holes but they have multiple tee off areas making it feel very different on the back 9. Staff were welcoming and the views are stunning.

Beautiful 9 hole golf course, stunning views. Its not a long course but tricky, plenty hazards. Great fun to play.
