        A great place to walk if your visiting Lismore. This site definitely comes across as less visited than its neighbour castle coeffin. takes between 15-20 minutes walk from the road and very little information is displayed on its location. some wall structures do still stand including the original stair case, unfortunately there isn't an awful of the structure remaining but once you make the steep walk to the castle you are greeted with great views.

        Glorious views in a wonderfully remote location, if your willing to make the trek its well worth it. ( If sailing there is also a reasonable anchorage nearby)
