(Translated by Google) Quite an impressive waterfall, which can be reached after an easy hike. Climbing around on the slope for a good photo position is not without its dangers. (Original) Durchaus beeindruckender Wasserfall, den man nach einer leichten Wanderung erreicht. Erst das Rumgeklettere am Hang fr eine gute Fotoposition ist nicht ganz ungefhrlich.

Fantastic walk with fantastic views rain or shine. A little steep at the end to get down to the waterfall view but not too bad despite the scary warning sign!

First of all when you type falls of kirkaig on Google do not keep following as it will take you straight past the car park where you need to be. There is a carpark just before you go over a cattle grid on your right. Pull in to the car park and cross the road going through the gate on the right hand side. Follow the road on foot and head through the kissing gate. Follow the path beside the river and keep going. I have really bad knees and had to use poles, if anyone has poor knees it is quite hard on your knees in places. Follow the path climbing through the wooded section then head out into the open moors. Carry on following the path and you will come in to what I would say bog land. Boots advised or you will loose a trainer. Once you reach the bog land you are 10 mins from reaching the waterfall. There are numerous warnings about how unsafe the waterfall is so be careful. We had a lovely picnic near the falls and headed back. The walk with my knees took about 4 hours round trip. Hope this helps. Beautiful scenery.. just very boggy
