Go Wild Highlands

My wife Rachel, 12 year-old son Theo (prised away from his computer games) and myself had a really enjoyable calming paddle down the Kyle of Sutherland - chatting as we went. Ian was very calm, friendly, knowledgeable, and annoyingly able to go twice as fast with a quarter of the effort we were putting in ;-) His wife's cake was also very tasty. Recommended.

We had an amazing excursion with Ian while on our cruise. He picked us up at the port and drove us across the beautiful highlands. The canoe trip was picture perfect. Our family of three had an amazing adventure. My 9 year old hasn't stopped talking about his fun with Ian. Ian's wife and daughter made a lovely and tasty picnic lunch for us filled with locally sourced items. This picnic was a foodies dream come true! The local cheese, venison salami, smoked salmon, tomato soup and sourdough bread were outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this peaceful and relaxing, yet active adventure. I highly recommend spending your time in port with Ian.

A great day out on the river, loads of fun, even with the strong wind! Ian is a great guy and a patient experienced giude. He even took our kids into his canoe, when paddling against the wind was getting hard for them. A nice tea break with homemade cake gave us the strength for return journey. We had a really fun time!

We had an amazing time canoeing down the Kyle of Sutherland! Ian is a friendly and fun instructor who made us feel at ease when we first started canoeing. He helped us become confident canoers by the end of the trip! :) We would strongly recommend Go Wild Highlands for canoeing trips!
