The house itself has a view of the surrounding area which is nothing like I've seen in Scotland before. You have over 180 of scenic views overlooking Nedd and the nearby lochs. There's also a viewpoint up behind the house where you can watch the sunset.
The sitting room is a great place to chill out, and there's also sitting areas outside, which I would recommend on slightly windy days so you don't get eaten alive by the midges.
The house was found very clean, and there was plenty of maps, DVDs and books on wildlife. There's also a scope for watching wildlife on the other side of the loch (look out for deer and seals), and also an astronomical telescope.
There's also a badger who visits every evening, which was a lot of fun to spy on.
All in all, fantastic stay! My only complaint is that the internet is temperamental, but you should expect that from this part of the world.
