        Hi, I spent 7 amazing nights at Jakels Rest with my dog Monty. The accommodation was beautiful, everything you need is there including a safe garden for your dog. Kelvin and Jan were fantastic hosts with lots of knowledge of where to go and what to see.and always on hand Lairg is definitely the crossroads of Scotland, fantastic base to explore the Highland's. Stunning beaches, wild waterfalls, open swimming opportunities, forests to explore, peace and quiet all around. You can drive for miles and see no-one! I will definitely be going back. Thanks Kevin and Jan x

        August 2022- my husband and I stayed at Jakel's Rest for 4 nights and used it as a base to visit North, West & East coasts of Northern Scotland. It was a lovely place to 'come home' to each evening as we could relax in the cozy sitting room & get a great night's sleep.Would happily recommend anyone to stay at Jakel's Rest, you won't be disappointed.
