Wonderful food and friendly, attentive staff. We visited The Pier twice during our week-long holiday. It's clearly very popular, even out of season. There is loads of indoor seating and both covered and uncovered outdoor seating. The outside areas are dog friendly and the staff were great with our GSD.

We stopped here for some food whilst travelling. What a lovely position this restaurant has! It's right on the water and sat outside on a sunny day with the dog was just lovely. I'll be honest - I was famished when I got here and when our meal arrived I thought it looked small. But I was actually pretty stuffed by the end of it so I wasn't disappointed. The food itself was very nice and I'd definitely eat here again, very flavourful. Tea rooms and "lite bites" aren't my thing, especially not when traveling around in a camper so it was a relief to find somewhere selling a nice cooked meal.
