        Rebecca and Mark are the most amazing hosts for a holiday thats a little different. Our adventure involved exploring the most remote areas of north west Scotland on foot and by sea kayak, wild camping and fishing. Great fun in some difficult conditions done safely. The accommodation is very comfortable, food is excellent and the views from the dining table are out of this world. Highly recommend Ridgeways to anyone looking for a slightly different more adventurous break with friends or family.

        A superbly led and hosted day of amazing sea kayaking on Loch Laxford for our family of 4. Extremely professional and safe. Mark our guide encouraged and gently developed two young teenage paddlers. In their words we really enjoyed the waves and exploring through the rocks. The day finished off with a jump into the sea, a peak at John Ridgeways Atlantic rowing boat from 1966 and Rebeccas Cape Horn sea kayak from 1992 plus scones, cake and tea in the sunshine. Well be back
