We stayed here last week to get away from the fireworks as one of our dogs gets really anxious. Bad weather did not detract from our break. The cottage is so cosy and Gillie in David we're on hand to answer any questions. Remote but also only a 15 minute drive to Durness. Gorgeous part of the country.

Lovely Carbreck! My wife and I stayed here last August. We are so pleased we did. It's remote, but that was fantastic for us. Remote = quiet. Yes there's a road that runs straight past, but not a busy one. From the front-door you can walk straight into the local mountains, the most Northerly in mainland Britain. The house itself is lovely, and has benefitted from an extension to the downstairs area. There is an external barn/store area which is secure and is a good place to store bikes. The scenery of this part of Scotland is breathtakingly beautiful. Recommend!
