        I wish I could give them 10 stars! We came across this roadside gem while doing the NC500 by bicycle. We were starving, in need of coffee and all of the sudden Karen and her van were there! The most delicious sausage and haggis roll, a good variety of cakes. However, the best part came when we were about to leave and the chain on my bike snapped, we had tools and spares with us but didn't manage to fix it. Karen and her husband, Brian went above and beyond, they not only helped us find a local bike mechanic (on a Sunday), but also helped us get to his place. Karen offered us hot drinks and gave us the most delicious plums, she grows in her garden. We were very fortunate to have come across the kindest soul, their kindness made a huge difference to our trip, and thanks to them, we were able to continue. We hope to be back again (probably not by bike).
