Noup Head Lighthouse

(Translated by Google) We did a coastal hike to Noup Head. The tour runs along the coast and is really spectacular. Tens of thousands of birds nest on the 8 km long cliffs. Even in the best weather, however, it can get very windy and cool. You should definitely have good clothes (also against rain) and food with you. If you like longer tours, start in Kirbest and walk along the coastal path in about 3 1/2 hours to the lighthouse built in 1898. At Noup Head one is treated to a magnificent scenery with the large lighthouse and the sheer coast with thousands of birds. You rarely see people there. Those who are less able to walk can also go there by bike or even in a rental car. The road or rather the path is very bumpy. Rather something for good drivers. Die Tour zieht sich entlang der Kste und ist wirklich spektakulr. IN den 8 Kilometer langen Kliffs brten zehntausende von Vgeln. Auch bei schnstem Wetter kann es allerdings sehr windig und khl werden. Man sollte auf jeden Fall gute Kleider (auch gegen Regen) und Verpflegung mit dabei haben. Wer gerne lngere Touren macht, startet in Kirbest und geht entlang des Kstenwegs in ca. 3 1/2 Stunden zum 1898 gebauten Leuchtturm. Bei Noup Head wird man von einer herrlichen Szenerie mit dem grossen Leuchtturm und der steil abfallenden Kste mit tausenden von Vgeln verwhnt. Menschen trifft man dort nur sehr selten an. Wer weniger gut zu Fuss ist, kann auch mit dem Fahrrad oder gar mit dem Mietauto hinfahren. Die Strasse oder eher der Weg ist aber sehr holperig. Eher etwas fr gute Fahrerinnen. Auf dem Bild sieht man ganz hinten auf der Klippe den Leuchtturm auf dem Noup Head.
