A lovely wee house (2 bedrooms: one double, one twin) in Mid Yell, just a few metres away from the sandy harbour beach. Big windows let in lots of light and the lovely sea views, and the house itself has everything you need for a self-catering stay (including a very effective dishwasher!). Yell itself is easy to get to, with the ferry from the Shetland mainland being regular, quick (15 minutes) and smooth even in high winds. Yell itself has amazingly well-stocked local shops: a small one in Mid Yell itself, another at the Ulsta ferry port and an Alladin's cave at Aywick (~10 mins drive from Mid Yell). And don't miss a visit to the stunning beaches at West Sandwick (10 min drive away) and Breckon (20 min drive).
