This place is a true joy to visit and it's a must do. It is packed to the rafters with everything antiques you know and have never seen or heard of before It's an Aladdins cave and Christmas rolled into one. What Alec does not know about the the "objects de art" he has on the shop floor , where they are or Providence is spellbidingly informative and interesting. It's easy to find it, signposted up on your way to Birsay. Welcoming, Wonderful Brilliant.

Full of treasures and delights. So much stock, easy to navigate around the shop. A lovely friendly owner called Alec, who was a pleasure to meet and chat to. Reasonably priced items. A enthusiastic, knowledgeable man. Definitely worth a visit.

I know it's a Friday in January but the website gives opening times, so it was very disappointing to travel all across Main Island to visit and find a hand written note on the door saying the owner was away and hoped to reopen on Saturday afternoon. Waste of my time and possibly lost sale for him!

A great place run by a great bloke! Alec gave our young son some toy cars to play with so we could browse in peace. Great selection of antiques, books and tools, all well priced. Worth a visit.
